1 1/2 cups flour
3 tbsps. shortening, dissolved
3 eggs
2 tbsps. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Filter flour, measure, add baking powder, salt and sugar. Consolidate egg, milk and liquefied shortening. Fill flour combination and blend barely to the point of soaking dry fixings. Try not to beat.
